About the Artist

Thank you for visiting the Firestone Pottery website!

I have always been involved in the arts in one fashion or another; music, theatre, design, marketing, dance, etc. but began my muddy adventure while obtaining a Graphic Design diploma in 2005. From there I enrolled at a local pottery studio and fell in love! Over the past 20 years I've been a member of many communal studios & workshops, however, mostly self-taught.  The business title originates from my German family name Fetz von Feuerstein and translates to Fetz from Firestone.   I am grateful to be able to follow my dream and have the ability to create sculpture and functional handmade art for people to enjoy in their daily lives.
